Questions change every day and are incorporated into your daily Check-in. Each question (and answer) provides a chance for you to connect and share with your team.
After adding to your plan and reflecting on what happened, you’ll be prompted to answer a question that can range from, “How was your weekend?” to “If you didn’t sleep, what would you do with that time?”
Whether your team is located in the next room or the next time zone, your answers will help your team get to know you better while building deeper connections and trust.
Why is it important to answer team questions?
Team questions require a level of introspection. When you are open and honest in your answers to team questions, your team will start to understand who you are beyond your job title.
Being vulnerable and authentic at work might be hard at first, but research has shown that the benefits to your team are essential to team effectiveness.
With vulnerability comes trust which ultimately leads to psychological safety — a top predictor of success and a key component of well-functioning teams. So, be sure to answer the team question in your next daily check-in and let us know about the positive changes you see in your team.
